Danger! Danger! California Water Restrictions Updated

Posted on April 3, 2015

Warning!  California Drought Alert for 2015

As of April 1, 2015 the Governor of California has mandated a 25% reduction of water consumption in all urban areas and given the ability to Water providers and Cities to fine you if you do not comply.  Additionally, irrigation of landscape is restricted.  You will only be given two days to water your communities (check with your water provider or landscaper to find out which days you can water.)  If you water outside of the schedule you can be fined.  I am not making this up.

If you have property in California, you need to start adapting your processes or you will be fined.  If you like paying fines, you can ignore this post.

If you would like to review the proclamation, please click here.
