Utility Management Advisory

Getting Started

Posted on April 13, 2017

Perhaps a tired issue, but still is a tough one:  “How to begin” the conservation efforts.  The task of harnessing all of our properties utilities – measuring, reducing, continuing the process, is daunting.  What are my criteria?

Well, I want anything that will make an impact immediately and over the long haul, save money, have a short ROI, and is free!  That is all possible.

Dsire.org is a great place to start……pick a state from the map and voila all of the programs that apply to that state, whether state or federal will populate…Scroll down …..find one that might apply and start exploring….

It will provide websites, contact info and summary of the program.

And away you go!!

Starting there we have about $4M of projects completed or underway with a cost to us of about 30%…..free or reduced cost always provide a great ROI!
