There is a correlation between Oil prices and Natural Gas prices,so I see what you are getting at. However, I think more of an impact that we will see on Natural Gas prices will have to do with the mild winter we are having AND the storage volumes. At any rate, we are seeing much lower prices in natural gas than in 2014.

  2. Darren Novich says:

The LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) contracts that are indexed to oil have decreased in value. They are trading at about half the value compared to when oil was trading at $100 per barrel. Short term: overall natural gas production remains high right now although rig counts have decreased significantly. We’ll continue to see less funding for new production both for oil and gas as the numbers just do not make sense right now.
